BlakeMason.com: Our 1st Christmas with Johnny B

After I finished editing 50 Degrees North, I sent a copy to Johnny B for his own personal archive. Soon after he called me up to thank me for such a great film and said how much he enjoyed the shoot – it being the best fun he ever had while working! As we got chatting he asked if he could come back for Christmas and of course I said yes
In the meantime, Sean had started to help me out with the filming and editing as Blake was under growing pressure at work. Now, I should tell you that for the last 3 months, Sean hasn’t stopped pestering me about arranging a date for the shoot and once I had it confirmed with Johnny, I finally had some peace.
On the day of the shoot something weird happened. Sean arrived on time. You see, usually I can’t get him out of bed before 2pm but on Sunday, even after a night out clubbing, he arrived at 11:30am to prepare the studio and set the lights. I was dumbstruck! When Johnny B arrived it was clear that Sean was nervous and feeling somewhat overwhelmed at meeting his idol – and blow me if Johnny B didn’t spend most of the shoot teasing him
